Working for Freedom & Liberty Daily

Wednesday marked America’s birthday and as is tradition, we paused to celebrate with parades, fireworks, picnics, and visits with family and friends.

Reflecting on our nation’s founding and the freedoms we still enjoy 236 years later reminds us not only of how vital and important it is for us to continue to work for freedom and liberty every day, but of how special each of us as Northwood University employees is because we do just that. We are active throughout our respective communities, and we work for freedom and liberty even more fundamentally through our daily work in educating the next generations—the future leaders of a global, free enterprise society.

As we continue to celebrate our nation’s independence I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for all you do to ensure America remains “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

Enjoy the weekend and the ongoing Independence Day festivities!
