Program Growth Update: New Endowed Scholarship for Operations & Supply Chain Management program
During our Quarterly System-Wide Update Meeting earlier this month, we shared key elements of our growth plan with you. We’re pleased to already be able to give you an update on this front that brings very good news and reinforces our program growth strategy.
Through the generosity of the Lear Corporation, and Lear’s retired CEO Dr. Robert E. (Bob) Rossiter (class ’82) who now serves on our Board of Trustees, Northwood University will have an Endowed Scholarship Fund for our new Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSM) degree program. This is a much welcomed development for our entire University, especially our OSM students and faculty.
Looking at it on a broader scale, the OSM Endowed Scholarship is a prime example of how corporations and individuals partner with Northwood University through their belief in and support of what we are doing. They want to help us bring new academic programs to the market, and their engagement at this level serves as a model for other corporations and individuals to emulate.
This marks an impressive start to our growth plan and gives us incredible momentum as we work to secure more funding for new and existing academic programs.
Enjoy your weekend!
