Emergency Alert Notification System
Dear Northwood Faculty & Staff,
Northwood plans to utilize clearTXT as an emergency alert notification system. Faculty, staff, students and parents choose what information they wish to receive and how they wish to receive it. Options include e-mail, cellular text messages, and in the near future, desktop alerts.
Within the next week, you will receive more information about clearTXT, including a user guide and a FAQ list. Posters will be distributed to each campus, DeVos, University College program centers, and to other units associated with Northwood. Look for additional information posted in My.northwood.edu and sent to you through e-mail.
Thank you for taking the time to read this important update. This marks a great accomplishment in keeping our community secure and safe in the event of emergency situations.
