Northwood University will hold its winter commencement on Saturday, December 14, at 2 p.m. in the Bennett Sports Center on campus located at 4000 Whiting Drive in Midland.
Approximately 230 students are qualified to graduate: the DeVos Graduate School will confer 13 M.B.A. degrees, 105 B.B.A. degrees will be awarded from the traditional program and 112 from the Adult Degree Program.
Don Taylor is this year’s winter commencement speaker. Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina. In September 2012, he was named to Northwood University’s Board of Trustees.
Taylor joined Dow in 1983 as a production engineer in Plaquemine, Louisiana. He has held a number of roles within the Company including vice president of operations for Dow Benelux (Terneuzen, The Netherlands) and site leader for Michigan Operations and corporate vice president for Global Supply Chain, EH&S Operations and Operations Services. He was named to his most recent position in November 2013.
