Northwood University officially became a strategic partner with the Irving Independent School District (ISD) on October 4, 2013, as a part of its high school partnership program. Representatives from the office of admissions and faculty will work with local high schools to provide presentations and information on the Business Canvas model “How to Write a Business Plan” and “Personal Finance,” as well as industry specific programming opportunities.
Titled Irving ISD's "Partners In Education," this partnership provides Northwood University access to schools and direct contact with students and teachers through opportunities within the high schools of Irving ISD. Northwood is listed as a strategic partner and provided preferential access for classroom presentations and recruitment opportunities.
