Northwood University recently welcomed alumna Heather Gray ‘home,’ as it selected the 1998 graduate for the position of Florida Adult Degree Program Admissions Representative.
In her new role Gray will apply her marketing and customer service experience toward promoting the program, which is designed to provide working adults with the opportunity to earn a bachelor of business administration degree in a variety of academic formats.
After having earned an Associate of Arts degree in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Northwood Florida, Gray spent two years living and working in Stockholm, Sweden. She then relocated to Los Angeles where she spent nine years representing Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where she completed their management trainee program and was promoted to the position of Human Resource and Recruiting Assistant.
But balmy, east coast breezes were calling Gray home when she returned to the Sunshine State in 2008 to serve as an Agency Sales and Service Manager for Elite Island Resorts.
“I love California, but it’s also great to be back with my fellow ‘Dol-Fans,’ laughed the Miami Dolphin devotee. “And being back at Northwood University Florida is the icing on the cake. It really does feel like coming home, and it’s amazing to see how the campus has grown.”
