(L-R) Eduardo Chairez, Evangelina Yanez and Francisco Chairez

Northwood Knights and brothers, Francisco and Eduardo Chairez both share a passion for business.  Francisco, a Northwood graduate will begin working towards obtaining his MBA from the DeVos graduate program this fall.  While brother Eduardo Chairez will begin his Northwood career as a freshman looking to pursue a degree in management with a concentration in entertainment, sport & promotion management.

“I am excited to see both of my sons accomplish so much.  And I look forward to watching Eduardo follow in Francisco’s footsteps and continue his education at Northwood University,” said Evangelina Yanez, the young men’s mother.

Both young men graduated from Western Hills High School in Ft. Worth, Texas with honors and were both very active in their schools activities.  Eduardo says he also plans to be as active as Francisco at Northwood.  Francisco who was the Student Government President for 2012-2013 was also active as the president of Northwood Sustainability. Formerly known as the Green Group, Northwood Sustainability works with the university and concentrates on the recycling program throughout the Texas campus.

Business is in their blood.  Their mother Evangelina Yanez owns her own jewelry company; Beauty’s Fashion Jewelry and has distributors who work for her nationally as well as internationally. Yanez said, “I am very proud of both of them and their dedication to accomplish their goals”.

Francisco Chairez currently works in PR and Marketing for Dallas Summer Musicals and is the Graduate Assistant at Northwood. Eduardo works in retail for the Texas Rangers with aspirations of someday working up the ladder in the organization.

This is just two examples of the caliber of students at Northwood University, who are dedicated and are willing to work to achieve their goals.  The sky is the limit for the Chairez brothers.
