Scholarships awarded on a case-by-case basis. Eligible candidates include ethnic Romanians, citizens of Romania eligible for graduate study or U.S. residents of Romanian descent enrolled in any business program with a cumulative grade point of 3.0 or better. Mary John Arts and Business Fund
Awards will be made annually. The purpose of the grant is to allow Northwood students to experience an exceptional arts program, participate in an arts mentorship, take part in an arts/business executive shadowing or arts related internship program, or to attend an arts seminar or other out of the ordinary arts related program or experience, not regularly available to students. Stimulating creativity and innovation is an additional anticipated income. The application and award process will be administered by the Northwood University Director of Private Donor Scholarships in co-operation with the Campus Arts Director, who will select the student. This scholarship, established at Northwood University, will provide scholarship monies to deserving students enrolled at Northwood's MICHIGAN campus. Awards for scholarship will be based upon academic merit and enhancing the reputation of Northwood. The applicant must have a cumulative gpa of 3.0 or greater. The applicant must be actively involved in activities that help promote the image of Northwood's students and alumni; athletically inclined whether in team sports or individual competition. Applicants must be in any program of study at the MICHIGAN campus of Northwood. Applicant must be an upper classman when the scholarship is awarded. The SUMCHA group will determine the scholarship recipient. (E)

The amount of the scholarship is determined by PSI (Professional Secretaries International). Recipients are chosen by the Midland Chapter, Professional Secretaries, International, and Midland. (E)

Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens at the TEXAS or MICHIGAN campuses, with demonstrated financial need and academic excellence. (E)
Harold H. Baker Scholarship
Multiple scholarships available. Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, upper division students at the FLORIDA or MICHIGAN campuses, with demonstrated academic excellence and financial need. (E)
Ormond E. Barstow Memorial Scholarship
Multiple scholarships are available. Awards will be based upon demonstrated financial need. Special considerations will be given to African-American, Native-American and Hispanic applicants. (E)
John A. Church Endowed Scholarship
Scholarship to be awarded to a student studying at either FLORIDA or MICHIGAN campus of Northwood University. Awards for scholarship will be based upon demonstrated financial need and academic merit. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and have maintained a grade point average of 2.5 cumulative. (E)
W.R. Crissey Scholarship
Multiple scholarships available. Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens at the FLORIDA or MICHIGAN campuses, having obtained an associate's degree, demonstrating career interest, financial need and academic excellence. (E)
Warner Kerzmann Memorial Scholarship
Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens at the MICHIGAN or FLORIDA campuses, demonstrating financial need and academic excellence. (E)
Edgar A. Madden Excellence in Writing Scholarship
This award seeks to promote excellence in writing among traditional students on the MICHIGAN campus of Northwood University and is awarded annually to a student nominated and chosen by the English faculty. The student chosen for this award has demonstrated outstanding writing ability as determined by the English faculty. Annually a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded the recipient at Honors Convocation. The award is to used toward the cost of a Northwood education for a term following Honors Convocation and may be awarded only once to an individual. (E)
Sheriff John S. Reder Annual Scholarship
Scholarship awards will be based upon demonstrated financial need and academic merit. Applicants must be US citizens or an international student from Poland, enrolled in a program of study at the MICHIGAN campus. First consideration will be given to MIDLAND COUNTY students followed by Bay and Saginaw County and/or a student from Poland. Applicants must show a career interest in Business Administration, Management in the public or government sector and/or Hotel Restaurant/Resort Management. (A)
