Scholarship will be based upon demonstrated financial need and academic merit. Applicants must be United States Citizens, enrolled in the Accounting program of study at the MI, FL or TX campus of Northwood University. (A)
William R. Bryden Memorial Scholarship
Scholarships will be based upon demonstrated financial need and academic merit. Applicants must be United States Citizens, enrolled in the Accounting curriculum at the MICHIGAN, FLORIDA and/or TEXAS campus(es) of Northwood University. (E)
Accounting Alumni Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships are made possible by Northwood University Accounting Alumni. The awards are presented to a student majoring in accounting entering his/her junior or senior year in the year of the award. The individual must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership ability, the potential to excel in the field of accounting, and financial need. The members of the faculty in the accounting department select the individual with final approval to be made by the chairperson of the accounting department. Restricted to the MICHIGAN campus. (E)
Ryan R. Heckman/LaSalle Bank Annual Scholarship
Awards for scholarship will be based upon academic merit and financial need. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, enrolled in Banking and Finance/Management or Accounting program of study at the MICHIGAN campus of Northwood University. First preference will be given to a freshman student from Laker High School, Pigeon, MI. (A)
Northwood University Network Scholarship
Multiple scholarships, funded by Northwood University alumni, are available to upperclassmen, enrolled in the accounting program of study at the MICHIGAN campus of Northwood University. A one-page essay which tells why they selected Northwood University, why they are studying accounting and why they feel they should receive this scholarship should accompany the application. Candidates for this scholarship may be asked to participate in a personal interview prior to the selection of recipients. (A)
Willis and Jewell Morris Scholarship
This award is made possible by Northwood alum, W. Howard Morris. The award consists of one scholarship awarded to a current full-time student or an incoming freshman. Eligible applicants include minority students majoring in accounting. Candidates will be interviewed by the donor and may be required to write an essay on a topic chosen by the donor. Restricted to the MICHIGAN campus. (A)
Yeo & Yeo Scholarship
This award is made possible by the regional accounting firm, Yeo and Yeo, Certified Public Accountants. The award consists of a scholarship presented to a student majoring in accounting who will become a senior in the year of the award, demonstrating academic excellence and possessing the potential to succeed in the public accounting profession. The recipient must indicate his or her intention to enter the certified public accounting profession after graduation. The faculty members of the accounting department select the recipient. Restricted to the MICHIGAN campus. Annually funded. (A)
