Visit Northwood

Choosing the right college is one of the most important decisions of your life. One way to find the environment that best fits you is to visit campus. This visit provides you an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, students and to explore campus life. A college visit is an excellent way to decide if Northwood is the university for you. Because selecting a college is such an important decision, families are welcome and encouraged to participate.

As part of your time on campus, we can arrange any or all of the following for you with at least a 2 business day notice:

• appointment with an admissions counselor
• tour of the campus and residence halls
• meet with a faculty member and/or attend a class
• lunch in our newly renovated cafeteria

Visits with an admissions counselor can be scheduled Monday - Friday at either 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM. Any of the other visit arrangements listed above can be scheduled Monday - Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Visits with an admissions counselor and campus tours can also be scheduled on Saturday mornings at 9:00, 10:00 or 11:00 AM.

To schedule an appointment, you are encouraged to complete this Visit Request Form at least 2 business days before you would like to visit campus.

You may also call the Admissions Office at 1-989-837-4273 or send an e-mail at least 2 business days before your planned visit. Be sure to include your name, date and time you would like to visit and a phone number we can reach you at to confirm your request. Admissions counselors will also do personal visits in your hometown! Please call for more information if you would like to set up an appointment in the comfort of your own home or town.

In addition to the personal visit, students are encouraged to attend one of the numerous Open Houses or Specialty Major Days the admissions office sponsors each year.
