Through a shared responsibility with the student, the academic staff helps students to realize the maximum educational benefits available, and advises students on how to obtain the most from the Northwood University undergraduate experience. The Academic staff addresses student concerns such as class issues, course instruction, scheduling, course sequencing, grades, tutoring, conflicts, program selection, transfer credits, scholarship tracking, transcripts, graduation, and other related academic issues.

Deans, counselors and faculty are available for scheduled appointments. Department chairs, faculty, and academic counselors are available for scheduled appointments and during drop-in office times that are posted each term.
