Operations & Supply Chain Management
In the Operations & Supply Chain Management (OPS) program you will be equipped to ultimately lead operations and supply chain management disciplines within their global enterprises. The growing globalization of supply chain management, a key component of OPS, produces a close fit with the Northwood mission of developing the future leaders of a global, free-enterprise society.
Operations and supply chain management has rapidly grown in importance as industries strive to become as efficient as possible. Globalization has further underlined the importance of supply chains. Industry professionals from diverse industries indicate there is a very high demand for staff who are competent in these areas and that there is a shortage of graduates with competencies in these disciplines. They expect demand to keep growing over the long term, making graduates of an OPS program highly employable.
OPS Majors look forward to careers as:
- Supply Chain Manager
- Purchasing Manager
- Project Manager
- Quality Manager
- Business Process Manager
