One-on-one Tutoring
One-on-one scheduled tutoring is available by completing a Tutor Request Form inside the Timberwolf Learning Center or by emailing tlc@northwood.edu.
Please complete the Tutor Request form to request an individual tutor. You will be contacted by a tutor in 3-4 days.
Tutor-led Study Groups
Tutor-led study groups are offered for frequently requested subjects and vary each semester. Contact the TLRC to find out which subjects are available.
Guidelines for students requesting tutorial services:
- Don't wait until it's too late. Request assistance as soon as you are having trouble.
- Attend class regularly. Tutoring is NOT a substitute for class attendance.
- Seek clarification from your instructor about what is expected of you. It is difficult to help you if you are not clear about the assignment.
- Be prepared and be on time. Bring your textbooks and any notes to your tutoring sessions.
