The Hospitality Management major focuses on the largest components of the highly competitive service economy. Hospitality Management courses include facilities engineering, food and beverage management, human resource management, and current hospitality industry issues. The program includes a career-related externship.

Tomorrow's Hospitality Executives

The mission of the Hospitality Management program is to provide education, experience, and career preparation for tomorrow's hospitality executives. With specialized courses, Hospitality Management students receive a solid business management core and collegiate curriculum requirements to create a diverse education.

The Hospitality Management major participates in many campus related functions and events. From planning and preparation to implementation, our students graduate with hands-on experience and are ready to immerse themselves in the industry. Our students engulf themselves in a yearlong planning and create The Stafford Dinner, an annual event raising scholarship monies for students in the program.

Measures of Hospitality Management program's success are quality graduates. Graduates are prepared for a broad range of employment opportunities. Graduate placement is exceptional.
