MIDLAND, MI – Barbara Christensen has been elected president of the National Association of Career Women (NACW). She is a member of the Saginaw Chapter of the NACW and will now be serving on the association’s national board. The NACW’s mission is to create an enriching environment for career women to share, grow and build professional and personal relationships to enable them to reach their full potential.

Currently Christensen is a regional director for the Adult Degree Program and DeVos Graduate School of Management at Northwood University. She is responsible for overseeing the operations for Northwood’s centers in Alpena, Bay City, at Delta College, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Midland, Saginaw and online.

Christensen earned both her B.B.A. and M.B.A. from Northwood University.  She and her husband, Donald, and family reside in Saginaw.
