MIDLAND, MI – On Wednesday, August 28, Northwood University will host its annual Student Kick-Off Party from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Hach Student Life Center located on campus at 4000 Whiting Drive. The goal of this event is to acquaint the Midland community with Northwood students, faculty and staff.
The Kick-Off Party vendors include over 125 businesses, charities and nonprofit organizations from the Midland community as well as Northwood student organizations and departments. Teresa Sullivan, director of student life for Northwood University, states, “Northwood University strives for our students to feel comfortable on campus and make Midland their home. We also encourage our students to become involved in our campus and community.” This is a great opportunity for both the Midland and Northwood communities to build a stronger relationship as well as inform the new and returning students of the many opportunities Midland has to offer.
