CEDAR HILL, Texas – Northwood University’s Texas campus is happy to announce the appointment of Celeste Lindell to the position of career services director.
The Northwood University Texas MBA graduate will assist the students as they look for the ideal career that fits their interests. This will be achieved through on-campus events and workshops, resume reviews, effective interviewing skills, and growing student’s relationship building skills.
“Over the last 20 years in business I have enjoyed establishing and maintaining relationships with corporate contacts. Networking with organizations such as DallasHR, allows me to connect with prospective employers, who might be interested in hiring our students for full-time positions, internships, and summer placements,” said Lindell.
Mrs. Lindell will also be able to apply her knowledge of hiring, coaching, and leading a team. Lindell states, “As a hiring manager, I understood the value of an applicant who was prepared for the interview.” During her career, she received specialized training that directly related to hiring and keeping the right people in the right positions.
“It is very rewarding to support others as they prepare for a job that is a good fit for them, so I look forward to working with our students in this capacity,” continued Celeste.
Dr. Tara Peters, associate professor, DeVos Graduate School, Texas said, “I am thrilled to have Celeste work for the university as the new full time Career Services Director. I have known Celeste as a student and a co-worker and I appreciate her commitment to excellence and high level of professionalism in everything she does.”
Celeste Lindell received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Central Florida. After moving to Texas, she earned an MBA from Northwood University’s DeVos graduate program.
