MIDLAND, MI – Northwood University’s Adult Degree Program (ADP) now offers a B.B.A. degree in Health Care Management (HCM) to students in both an online and blended active learning environment.
Dr. Linda Henderson, academic dean for ADP at Northwood University, remarked, “Through innovative curriculum, challenging coursework and exposure to industry-leading faculty, we are proud to add Health Care Management to our nationally recognized and growing online degree portfolio. Our goal is to provide our students with a unique experience through the use of relevant case studies, project-based, experiential learning and inventive online engagement techniques.”
Students are immediately immersed in the principles of HCM as well as the economics, accounting, budgeting and financial management of the health care industry. These core courses combine with organizational behavior, leadership, legal and ethical aspects, and total quality management to develop the future leaders of the global health care industry.
Students may earn their HCM degree from Northwood University fully online or in conjunction with any of the 12 program centers in Michigan including Alpena, Bay City, Flint, Livonia, Midland, Saginaw and Troy.
