MIDLAND, MI – Northwood University recently named Valisa Maki as the admissions advisor to the Adult Degree Program (ADP) in Grand Rapids. As a member of the admissions and recruiting team, Maki will work with the ADP throughout the greater Grand Rapids region. She will work to drive University enrollment and awareness in this vital region of Michigan.
Maki brings to Northwood a wealth of sales, marketing and business development experience in various roles throughout her career. Most notably, she enjoyed great success as group ticket business development manager for the Grand Rapids Griffins. Maki has also worked directly in the launch of several new sales and marketing campaigns throughout the region.
Dr. Matthew Bennett, director of admissions for ADP, states, “Maki possesses the drive, determination and experience necessary to actively engage the marketplace and will be a valuable resource as we seek to grow Northwood’s ADP enrollment channels. Her enthusiasm, combined with her knowledge of the market, will prove beneficial in actively expanding the awareness and engagement of Northwood University throughout western Michigan.”
Maki is originally from Muskegon and currently resides in Grand Rapids.
