Student Welcome, Orientation and Registration Day

May 31, 2013

CEDAR HILL, Texas –It’s time to register for Northwood University’s Knights' SWORD (Student Welcome, Orientation and Registration Day).  SWORD is designed to make a student’s transition to Northwood University as smooth as possible.  At SWORD, young Knights learn about their new campus home, meet professors and register for classes. The mission of orientation is to provide new students with the foundation for academic and extracurricular success at Northwood University.  More importantly, students have the opportunity to meet fellow classmates, make new friends and be prepared to call Northwood home when they arrive in August.

Our first two SWORD dates are June 21st and July 10th.  Orientation dates will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is important to choose your date and register as soon as possible to ensure you receive the date of your choice.

Director of Leadership and Character Development and SWORD Coordinator, Abby Babbitt said, “I am so excited to meet and greet the new Knights and welcome them to our Northwood Texas family. This upcoming academic year is going to be bigger and better than ever before. I have several fun and exciting events planned for the students during Squire Camp and also throughout the course of the school year. I hope they are looking forward to it as much as I am.”
