RESCHEDULED--The Style Show will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 8:00 p.m.

MIDLAND, MI – The Northwood University (NU) Style Show executive board composed of 18 students is hard at work preparing the 12th annual show. It is bound to be an experience to remember and is set to take place on Friday, April 19, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. The show will be held in the Hach Student Life Center on the Northwood campus located at 4000 Whiting Drive in Midland. The public is welcome to attend the show as well as the gala reception directly following the event.

The 12th annual NU Style Show theme is “Reel to Real” which celebrates films and their vast influence on the world of fashion. The show will come alive through some of the most treasured motion pictures from our childhood. From the big screen to the runway, style plays the leading role in this five-star event which is completely constructed by the student executive board as each member brings in their own unique interpretation of the overall theme. Through high-end staging, production and fashion, the audience will get lost in the event as Northwood University students bring their talents into the spotlight for a show designed to dress and impress. The Style Show will feature the talents of student designers as well as many unique fashions from stores throughout the state of Michigan. Jill Ouellette, chair and professor of the fashion marketing program at Northwood University, is advisor to the executive board.
