CEDAR HILL, Texas – Northwood University, Texas Campus is happy to announce the colonization of a national fraternity.  This spring the men of Omega Delta Phi fulfilled their responsibilities to become an official colony. Once the colony reaches chapter status they will be part of the North Texas Region. The Northwood University Knights, will officially become ODPhi knights which is also the mascot of the fraternity.

“Becoming an ODPhi has been life changing.  It encourages me to be the person I need to be to establish myself and surround myself with people with the same values, which are unity, honesty, integrity and leadership,” said Wally Trejo, Omega Delta Phi President.

In order to RUSH ODPhi a student must maintain a 2.5 GPA and complete thirty community service hours a semester.  The goal of Omega Delta Phi is to graduate our brothers, to serve the community and promote higher education, to excel academically, athletically and socially.  Omega Delta Phi will participate in NU Texas RUSH this fall and has a number of community services projects in the works.

“I believe Omega Delta Phi is an excellent fraternity for students to become involved with since Omega Delta Phi is a well-established national organization and their values coincides with Northwood University,” said Dr. Terry Siva, Academic Dean and Omega Delta Phi Advisor.
