Northwood Student Jessica Warner Gains Experience While Working at Cedar Point

MIDLAND, MI – Jessica Warner of Mt. Pleasant, a senior at Northwood University, is spending the summer at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, as an activities supervisor in the employee services department. Her responsibilities are planning, implementing and promoting employee events which include ride nights, movies nights, dances, and trips to Chicago, Niagara Falls, the Cleveland Zoo and the Aurora Outlet Malls.

Warner spent the fall semester of her junior year participating in an internship through the Disney College Program. After working at Disney World for six months, she was chosen to be the first Disney College Program representative at Northwood University. Since then Warner has recruited several Northwood students to participate in the Disney College Program.

At Northwood Warner has also managed the Northwood volleyball team for the past two years, is president of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, an active member of Business Professionals of America (BPA) and Circle K International, and is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. She is earning a degree in business management through the accelerated MBA program at the DeVos Graduate School of Management.
