Weekend MBA program scheduled to begin January of 2013.

MIDLAND, MI – Northwood University President and CEO Keith A. Pretty is pleased to announce the addition of the weekend MBA to the DeVos Graduate School of Management programming scheduled to begin January of 2013. This program will run for 24 months starting January 2013 through December 2014.

Weekend cohorts will meet twice a month on Friday from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The weekend delivery allows prospective students to pursue a high quality graduate level business degree in a convenient, manageable way by combining traditional face-to-face classes with online components. The weekend program was developed to specifically meet the needs of individuals with significant professional work experience. The weekend option caters to individuals with professional travel requirements, personal and family responsibilities who are unable to attend the more traditional programs.

Dr. Lisa Fairbairn, dean of Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School of Management, states, “Each of our programs exceeds traditional curriculum standards by integrating technical business skills with the knowledge necessary to contribute to leadership roles in a changing global economy. All of the coursework is focused upon key student outcomes centered on the development of business acumen, critical thinking and personal effectiveness.”

The weekend program will be offered at the following DeVos locations: Grand Rapids; Lansing; Midland; Troy; West Palm Beach, FL; and Cedar Hill, TX.
