MIDLAND, MI – Students are being offered “more for less” during Northwood University’s Summer Sessions. Northwood is offering a 25% discount on tuition for traditional students taking classes in Florida, Michigan or Texas during the 2012 Summer Sessions.
The dates for Summer Session II are June 18-July 6 with Summer Session III occurring July 9-July 27.
This feature will enable students to complete course work at a lower rate. The discount does not apply to the Study Abroad program, internships, practicums and excludes Adult Degree Program (ADP) students.
Not only will students benefit by saving money but they will also be able to take extra classes, work on a second major or minor, get caught up on their degree program so they can graduate on time, or enroll in that special class they’ve “always wanted to take” but did not have the time or resources to do so. Northwood is also offering students the opportunity to take advantage of on-campus housing options.
John Young, vice president of marketing and enrollment management, states, “This has been a good way to meet the needs of current Northwood students while attracting guest students. Students looking to complete courses over the summer now have a financial incentive to stay in town and work toward finishing their degree in four years.”
