Northwood University and North Central Michigan College to Sign Articulation Agreement

MIDLAND, MI – Northwood University and North Central Michigan College (NCMC) will have an articulation signing event on Monday, October 1, at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the University Center Gaylord located at 80 Livingston Boulevard. Following the signing, Northwood University, in collaboration with the Gaylord Chamber Commerce, will host a formal ribbon cutting for the new onsite location at the Gaylord University Center. Light refreshments will be served.

Northwood and NCMC have agreed to partner in order to offer three unique business degree programs at University Center of Gaylord. The programs to be offered are: Entrepreneurship, Hospitality Management and Management.

Dr. Matthew Bennett, director of admissions for Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School and Adult Degree Program, states, “We are excited to further expand our educational alliance with a partner as well respected as North Central Michigan College by providing new and innovative degree offerings in the region.”

“I am excited to partner with NCMC and work with students who are looking to transfer and earn their business degree from Northwood University. NCMC is well-regarded throughout northern Michigan and this partnership is a natural fit to develop future business leaders in this area,” states Laura Nash, program center manager. “The partnership allows Northwood University to deliver nationally recognized and unique programs to the local community who may not have, otherwise, had the opportunity to attend Northwood University.”

This event is open to the public. Administrators and professors from both campuses will be in attendance.
