Northwood University Alumni Network to Host Third Annual Business Book Club Series

Due to the success of the alumni book club events over the last two years, the Northwood University Alumni Network will be continuing the Northwood Alumni & Friends Business Book Club Series.

MIDLAND, MI – Due to the success of the alumni book club events over the last two years, the Northwood University Alumni Network will be continuing the Northwood Alumni & Friends Business Book Club Series. The series will begin with a short meet and greet, followed by a discussion of this semester’s Omniquest book selection, “Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action” by Simon Sinek, which will be facilitated by the faculty of the DeVos Graduate School of Management. This semester’s rendition of the Business Book Club Series will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at four locations on three different dates. The dates and locations are:

▪           July 10, Midland Program Center, located at 4000 Whiting Drive—DeVos Building
▪           July 11, Grand Rapids Program Center, located at 515 Michigan St. NE
▪           July 11, Troy Program Center, located at 1900 W. Big Beaver, Suite 200
▪           July 24, East Lansing Program Center, located at 1600 Abbot Rd.

The Omniquest book program is a university-wide program in which a provocative and challenging book is selected each semester. Since its inception at Northwood University 20 years ago, students have read 60 of the leading non-fiction business books on the market. Throughout the semester, the book’s theme is adopted for simultaneous discussion and analysis in all of the programs, on all campuses.
