Northwood University Florida Head Men's Basketball Coach Rollie Massimino will serve as Grand Marshall for Feast of Italy, the Palm Beaches 10th Annual Italian Fest November 2 – 4th, 2012 at Abacoa Town Center in Jupiter, Florida.

Massimino, who is fulfilling a heavy schedule as Northwood Florida's Director of Basketball Operations will take time out to join the festival and help to promote Italian-American pride, traditions, music, food, family and good old fashion fun.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to cheer him on as he welcomes guests on Friday, November 2nd at 6:15pm and participates in a celebrity cheese building contest on Sunday at 1:15pm.

"The Feast of Little Italy began 10 years ago with a vision to create an experience rich in Italian culture. It is now the largest Italian festival in the state of Florida. The Feast hosts national entertainment, cooking demonstrations, Banfi wine seminars, the Sorrento Cheese Building for Charity contest, art pavilions, bocce courts, street painting, and more. With something for everyone, it is a great time to get the entire family together to enjoy: the best Italian food, music, art, tradition and family fun that Feastgoers have come to love," said Jerry Soma, President of the Feast.

The event will feature an amazing line-up of Italian singers from all over the country. Entertainers will celebrate their accomplishments, as well as the accomplishments of Italian-American artists. Over a decade ago Feast of Little Italy organizers started with a vision to create an experience rich in Italian culture and to celebrate the contributions of great Italians through food, music, art and tradition. Today they remain dedicated to encouraging the importance of family and community in an effort to stay mindful of the hardships that their ancestors endured in migrating to America.
