Teddy Nowell Earned RRAC of the Week Honors

CEDAR HILL, Texas –Teddy Nowell of Northwood University (Texas) earned RRAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors for April 16-22.

Nowell, a senior pitcher from Mesquite, Texas, tossed a two-hitter in his only start of the week to beat the University of Houston-Victoria, 5-0. He struck out seven and walked three in seven innings of work. The Knights are 11-9-1 in the RRAC and 24-19-1 on the season.

“Teddy really pitched great this weekend.  He is one of the best pitchers that we have had here at Northwood and I’m glad to see him finish his college career on such a high note”, said Jeremy Kennedy, Head Baseball Coach for Northwood TX.
