GCAA Recognizes Northwood Golf Team
Northwood University earns All-Academic Team Honors

CEDAR HILL, Texas - Northwood University’s men’s golf team has been recognized as one of 12 NAIA teams to receive All-Academic honors by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The GCAA recently announced All-Academic Team Honors for the 2011-12 school year.
To be eligible for the GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the grade point averages for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
"The guys have shown this year that while they are a smart bunch, they also work hard and are able to manage their time appropriately,” commented Head Golf Coach Ben Belfield. “I would love to see us reach the next level of academics by achieving a team GPA of 3.5. I look forward to seeing how well we can do next year!"
Honorees for the 2011-12 school year include Forrest Bench, Chris Craft, Adam Gelmon, Drake Genna, Joss Gosling, Travis Kemp, Ian Morehouse, Jeremy Novakowski, Daniel Stoakes, Derek Trofimczuk and JT Zaiger.
