Northwood University Florida's Jeannette Hare Art Gallery is currently showcasing works from the Palm Beach County Art Teacher's Association (PBCATA) and will host their opening exhibit on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 from 4:00pm – 6:30pm.

The collection, titled "Informal Meeting of the Creative Minds," is a mixed media showcase and will highlight a variety of works from local artists.

The exhibit will be held November 19, 2012- February 14, 2013 and the opening reception is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9-6 Monday – Friday; and 12-6 Saturday and Sunday. It is the mission of the Palm Beach County Art Teachers Association to support art education and to promote art as a means of communication for each individual. It is the right of each individual to develop his own creativity and aesthetic potential. It is our purpose to strengthen the position of art education in Palm Beach County. We support programs in art which meet the needs, interests and abilities of each individual student. We will promote and maintain the highest quality of art education in Palm Beach County.
