University of the Aftermarket: Inaugural Heavy Duty Leadership
Conference is Officially Sold Out
MIDLAND, Mich. – The inaugural Heavy Duty Leadership conference has officially sold out, signaling the increasing importance of university-level, industry-specific education for the motor vehicle aftermarket.
The program, which will host 24 heavy-duty professionals from across the heavy duty aftermarket, will be held next week (July 8-13) at the Sloan Family Building for Aftermarket Studies on the campus of Northwood University in Midland, MI. The class represents a diverse cross-section of the North American heavy-duty market, with professionals coming from US and Mexican manufacturing, warehouse distribution, logistics, association, OES and program group organizations.
"This is the very first leadership development program specific to the heavy-duty industry, and I am so very pleased that the heavy-duty market sees value in investing in its rising stars," said University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank, MAAP. "The class is a balance of manufacturers and distributors, which will really make in-class discussions valuable."
Heavy Duty Leadership is an intense and intellectually challenging five-day residential executive and management development program designed for management-track heavy-duty professionals in all market segments. The program is led by top heavy-duty industry leaders who collaborate with faculty from Northwood University's DeVos Graduate School of Management and the University of the Aftermarket to create a unique partnership that addresses important leadership and market trend topics.
Graduates earn 3.5 continuing education units that can be applied toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations.
