Northwood University's Delta Mu Delta Receives Star Chapter Award

Northwood University's chapter of Delta Mu Delta, a national honorary society in business administration, has been selected to receive the Delta Mu Delta Star Chapter Award presented each year to outstanding chapters.

MIDLAND, MI – Northwood University's chapter of Delta Mu Delta, a national honorary society in business administration, has been selected to receive the Delta Mu Delta Star Chapter Award presented each year to outstanding chapters. This will be the first year that the Delta Xi Chapter, Northwood's Chapter, has won the Star Chapter Award. Thirty-five students were inducted into Northwood's Chapter in April, 2009.

All Star Chapters will be recognized at Delta Mu Delta's next Biennial Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 6-8.

Since its inception on November 18, 1913, Delta Mu Delta has served to promote higher scholarship in training for business and to recognize and reward scholastic attainment in business subjects. The Delta Xi Chapter at Northwood has been a member of Delta Mu Delta since May 13, 1984. Carol Messing, the chapter's advisor for the past 21 years, is an English professor at Northwood University.
