Northwood University's Florida Campus Welcomes Robert Cabello as Dean of Students

Northwood University's Florida Campus is pleased to announce that it has appointed Robert Cabello, J.D. as Dean of Students. In his new role, Cabello will supervise a variety of Northwood departments including student life, intercollegiate athletics, campus security, career services, residential life, and more.

Cabello holds two degrees in counseling from Eastern Michigan University, a Law Degree from Indiana University-Bloomington and has done Post-Doctoral work at Harvard University's IEM program. His professional success includes several leadership roles which have assisted many. His professional career has spanned over 35 years in public and higher education as well as in the operation of non-profit entities, and it documents a history of solid leadership. He has served as Chief Operations officer for All Saints Catholic Church in Sunrise, Florida and Chief Student Affairs Officer at Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Most recently, he has served as Co-Founder and Mediator of the Southeast Florida Meditation Center. Cabello, along with three other partners developed the center to provide comprehensive problem solving and dispute resolution services to the legal, judicial and non-profit communities in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
