Thirty-nine years ago, a small group of volunteers and friends revolutionized the way we support our students. The group developed a charity auction to raise scholarship funds. The volunteers serve as liaisons between the community and the University. Our friends are dedicated to promoting University awareness and to providing support for its curriculums and students.
The FAD Auction consists of a silent auction, cocktail reception, and is followed by a formal dinner. After dinner, a "live" auction commences. Please contact Tom Kavanagh, Vice President of University Advancement, at 989.837.4356 for more information.
The Scholarship Showcase began in 1997 as a fundraising event held in the Detroit area to bring together alumni, friends, and corporate constituents of Northwood University. Since inception, the showcase has raised approximately one million dollars benefiting students.
The evening spotlights the generosity of Northwood’s friends, constituents, and business partners. Northwood administration, students, and guests focus on sharing and enriching the career-focused curriculums offered at Northwood. Learn more about giving opportunities by contacting Brian Parr, Senior Director of Development, at 248.822.2445.
Town & Campus is the Tri-City and founding chapter of the Friends of Northwood, an inclusive group of community members, parents, alumni, donors, awardees, and industry leaders in the Midland, Michigan area who support Northwood University and the Northwood Idea. The volunteer organization serves as a liaison between the community and the University. Over 5,000 students have benefited from the support of Northwood's Town & Campus chapter of the Friends of Northwood. Learn more about our Town & Campus chapter by contacting Tom Kavanagh, Vice President of University Advancement, at 989.837.4356 .
