Student Advisors
Each Northwood University campus has an International Student Advisor (ISA) who provides support and assistance to international students. The ISA is also a DSO (Designated School Official) and typically the university's official link with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The ISA advises students, faculty, staff and administrators on regulations pertaining to international students and typically completes and files forms and reports with the USCIS or USICE as required by law.
Students who have questions about SEVIS or immigration/cultural matters or who wish to file applications for benefits such as OPT or CPT should make an appointment to see the ISA on their campus in the U.S.
