Title:  Financial Aid System Director Employment Application

The System Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state and institutional rules and regulations, budget and fund management and the development and documentation of policies and procedures. The System Director reports to the Vice President of Finance and is an active member of the University's enrollment management team. The System Director oversees and works collaboratively with the three campus Financial Aid Directors, whose offices award aid totaling over $50 million. System Director will coordinate all financial aid issues for the University.  The System Director is the primary contact for the United States Department of Education and auditors. With IT support, the System Director is responsible for financial aid automated systems, imaging system, student portal and website content. Director must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the integration of electronic systems and software.  The System Director plays a key role in forecasting trends and must possess solid computer, analytical, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.  Candidates should have a master's degree and a minimum of seven years of progressive financial aid experience in a college setting.  Bachelor degree candidates will be considered based upon experience.

Title:  Head Athletic Trainer Employment Application

Trainer will: act as a first responder on the field when sports injuries occur during practice and contests; provide for the prevention, evaluation, immediate treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Trainer will be expected to: attend all home contests; consult with AD and coach in determining decisions related to game cancellations due to weather; make final decision when athlete should be withdrawn and return to competition; make appropriate decisions in the course of catastrophic injuries, establish and coordinate responsibilities for the student assistant; process injury insurance claims; develop individual rehabilitation and proper hydration programs, administer drug testing program; maintain necessary athlete files and medical inventory supplies. Require; Bachelor's degree, Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Texas, Knowledge of throwing and distance related stress injuries, ability to recognize and stabilize joint injuries, Red Cross certification in the use of CPR/AED. Prefer Certified Red Cross instructor.
