Financial Policies

Collection Uncollected Funds/NSF Checks

Each time a check is returned, a $15 service charge will be added for each check returned unpaid by the bank. Each NSF check is re-deposited one time.

Course Withdrawal

Students who want to withdraw from their program must contact their Program Director and complete a withdrawal form.  A grade of "W" will be issued to the student and entered on their permanent record. The date of withdrawal will be the date the student contacts the Program Director and will coincide with the following tuition reimbursement policy:

  • Notification of withdrawal during week 1 - The student is given 100% reimbursement.
  • Notification of withdrawal beginning week 2 through the week 10 - tuition is applied to repeated course.

The week is defined as a seven day period beginning with the first class session of the semester. The withdrawal deadline is the last day of the tenth week. Failure to properly withdraw from your program by contacting the Program Director before the end of the tenth week of the semester may result in an "F" for any courses currently enrolled. The student will be responsible for the cost of unreturned or marked course materials.

Students who have withdrawn from their program of study and wish to re-enroll should contact the Program Director or Registrar for a revised plan of completion.

Financial Aid Students:  Dropping a class may affect your financial aid and satisfactory academic progress. Please contact Financial Aid at 989.837.4454 with questions.

Graduation Fee

$50.00, includes regalia and diploma.

Textbooks

The cost is included with tuition. DeVos Graduate School uses Study.Net as its online course distribution resource. At the students expense, students have the option of purchasing text packs from Study.Net.
