Medical assistance is available for all students through the Health and Wellness Center, located in room 1102 in the Stauffer Residential Complex. The staff provides basic services to treat both immediate and chronic minor medical issues. The staff can also provide assistance with contacting appropriate community health care professionals to address more serious medical needs.
A registered nurse is available from 10:00 am-3:00 pm, Monday-Friday to treat minor injuries and illnesses. A certified athletic trainer, located in the clinic, addresses sports injuries and treatment modalities for varsity athletes. A medical doctor is available for necessary referrals and is on-campus one day a week for four hours to see students. The nurse will schedule appointments for students to see the doctor.
All issues are kept in the strictest confidence. To contact the Health and Wellness Office call 478.5553.
