Founding

Northwood University was established in 1959 by Dr. Arthur E. Turner and Dr. R. Gary Stauffer. Northwood teaches business, management, and entrepreneurism based on freedom and the concepts of free-enterprise.

Transfer Admission

Students may enter Northwood at any point in their college career and transfer the maximum number of credit hours applicable to their program. Course grades must be a "C" average or better.
