American National College (ANC)/Northwood University
Colombo, Sri Lanka
In 2004, American National College (ANC) and Northwood University (NU) signed an agreement for NU to offer coursework that culminated in the BBA degree in Sri Lanka. ANC is the educational branch of Ceylinco Consolidated, a multi-national conglomerate based in Colombo. NU is a partner with ANC in offering American degrees for Sri Lankans and international students from the Indian subcontinent. Other American institutions are also partners in providing coursework.
The program offers students the opportunity to earn the BBA degree in several areas - Management, Banking and Finance/Management, International Business/Management, Marketing/Management. Students can learn entirely in Sri Lanka, or take coursework in Sri Lanka and then transfer to one of NU’s campuses in the United States.
Professor Mike Tuttle of NU’s Florida campus taught at ANC in the Summer and Fall 2004 semesters. In spring 2005, Professor Ken Wichert joined the NU ANC program as Academic Director and faculty member.
