

Dr. John Jasinski
Executive Vice President/Chief Academic & Operating Officer
In his role of Executive Vice President/Chief Academic and Operating Officer, Dr. John Jasinski oversees both academics and operations. He is the lead for internal, operational portfolios including academics, accreditation, and overall operations improvement. International programs, institutional research, processes and related metrics, creativity and instructional improvement and assessment are some of the key focal points of John's team.
Jasinski joined Northwood in 2007. Prior to joining Northwood, Jasinski was president of his consulting company. In that role, he assisted various higher education institutions as well as a variety of other organizations across all sectors to implement self-assessment and improvement processes, develop and execute strategic and academic plans, and address performance results. He also served as a personal coach to leaders and leadership teams across the country. He served Northwest Missouri State University from 1986-2001 in positions ranging from faculty member to department chair and associate provost. Jasinski was one of seven national educators to serve on the Higher Learning Commission's AQIP Design Team, a team that produced the new alternative accreditation model based on continuous improvement principles. He also has served the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in a variety of capacities.
He earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership/Higher Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a master's degree in Interpersonal and Public Communication, and a bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts both from Central Michigan University. He and his wife Denise have four children.
