Mark Yanke is the Senior Vice President of the Hospitality Division for The Redstone Companies and has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. In 1993, Mark joined The Redstone Companies as General Manager of The Houstonian Hotel and was promoted to Vice President and Managing Director in 2000 and to Senior Vice President in 2004. His responsibilities include overseeing all operations related to The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Trellis Spa, as well as management of The Redstone Companies golf clubs – ShadowHawk Golf Club, Houstonian Golf & Country Club, Redstone Golf Club and Black Horse Golf Club.

He has served as Past Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau and also as a member of the Board of Directors for The Super Bowl XXXVIII Host Committee (Houston was the 2004 host city). Other board positions held recently include Texas Hotel Motel Association and the Hotel and Lodging Association of Greater Houston.

Mark is a 1981 graduate of Northwood University in Midland with a BBA degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. In 2002 he received an honorary doctorate from the university and currently serves as chairman of the Texas Board of Governors.

He and his wife Maureen have three children, Marika, 13, Max, 12 and McKinley, 8. During his leisure time, Mark enjoys working out, golfing, snow skiing, running, and camping.
