Lyttleton T. Harris IV is President Emeritus of Southwest Management & Marketing Company of Houston. He also serves as Managing Partner of The Harris Investment Partnership and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The John Quincy Adams Foundation. Prior to this he held a number of executive positions in marketing and sales management for such organizations as Scott Paper Company, Hunt Wesson Foods, Dallas Federal Savings & Loan Association, and First Magnolia Federal Savings & Loan Association.
Always active in hereditary and patriotic organizations, he served as Governor General of The Order of the Founders & Patriots of America and now serves on their Board of Directors. He is Past Governor of the Texas Society of The Order of the Founders and Patriots of America, Past Governor of the Texas Society of Colonial Wars and Past President of Sons of the Revolution in Texas. He is a Lifetime Partner of the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans. He was former Vice President of the National Kidney Foundation of Mississippi and the National Kidney Foundation of Southeast Texas. He is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
Lyt received a Master of Science in Marketing & Economics from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Mississippi. He and his wife, Venita VanCaspel Harris, are Past Co-Chairs of Northwood’s National Women’s Board & Friends.
