John R. Hantz, a nationally recognized dynamic and creative leader in the financial community, is also widely known for his innovative management techniques and ability to implement quick change. Before founding Hantz Group in 1998, he ran the largest and most productive Market Group for American Express Financial Services. He did so by utilizing innovative management techniques and an entrepreneurial philosophy. His vision has led Hantz Group to explosive growth in both services offered and workforce.

In addition to serving as CEO of Hantz Group, Hantz is Chairman of Northwood's Michigan Board of Governors. He holds a BBA in economics from Northwood (1984) and an AMP from Harvard University. He has been featured in publications from Crain's Business to The Wall Street Journal.
