Diane Peterson is currently a Vice President with Comerica Private Bank. She handles the commercial, commercial real estate, and private lending services for the central and northern Palm Beach county area. Diane has 23 years of experience in banking and lending. Her career began with Chemical Bank New York where she received formal credit training through Chemical Bank. She has held various positions with local Florida banks since moving to Florida from New York in 1983. Diane has been a Senior Lender and Chief Operating Officer of a bank and has had various management responsibilities in the lending and banking field.

In 1981, she received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Adelphi University where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Diane received a degree in both marketing and finance; and she continued to update her education and skills over the years by attending advanced banking courses at Canon Trust School and investment school.

Ms. Peterson has been a leader of several charity organizations and has been active in professional organizations in banking. She has been the President of the American Business Women’s Association, Martin County Chapter; Vice President of the American Cancer Society, North County Chapter; President of Palm Beach County Panhellenic Association; President of the St. Clare Home and School Association; President of Opportunity Early Childhood Center, and is on the Executive Committee of Junior Achievement for Palm Beach County.

Diane was the former State Lending Chair for the Florida Banker’s Association. She has also been selected as a Who’s Who in Business in 1992 and 1996. Currently, she is active in the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches, Opportunity Early Childhood Center, Junior Achievement, and Leadership Palm Beach County from which she is a 2003 graduate.

Diane is the proud parent of two children, Christine and Ryan. Her daughter attends Virginia Tech and her son is in high school. Ms. Peterson resides in Palm Beach Gardens.
