About Us

Northwood's West Palm Beach, Florida campus is located on beautiful and spacious 90-acres, distinguished by woods, lakes, palm trees, and a unique bell tower and plaza. Classroom buildings, residence halls, administrative offices, and student facilities are modern and distinctly Floridian.

Great Location

The campus is located in West Palm Beach, just 60 miles north of Miami on Florida's east coast. Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale are just to the south; the Bahamas are a quick sail to the east; Lake Okeechobee and the Florida Everglades are a short drive to the west; and within 200 miles are Disney World, Daytona Beach, The Kennedy Space Center, and the Florida Keys.

Modern Campus

Student housing features an apartment-style residence complex with spacious suites, each with two bedrooms, two baths, a living room, and two study areas. The Dalby Commons provides facilities for food services, the student center, and the EXCEL office. Named in honor of Northwood's co-founder and his wife, The Johann M. and Arthur E. Turner Education Center provides a multipurpose academic building. The two-story, 38,000 square foot structure overlooks the lake. It houses classrooms, a library, bookstore, art gallery, lecture theater and small chapel along with administrative and faculty offices. The R. Gary and Willa Stauffer Residence Complex provide comfortable facilities for 432 students. The DeVos-Cook Academic Center, is a 23,000 square foot facility which houses state-of-the-art classrooms and faculty offices, the registrar's office, and the Center for Ethics in Business. This facility is easily accessible from both the Dalby Commons and the Stauffer Residence Complex via a pedestrian bridge. The newest building on campus, the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center is a 48,000 square foot facility which provides indoor basketball courts, locker rooms, weight and aerobics facilities, a student lounge, mail room, book store and a variety of offices. It serves as the first official home to Northwood’s Seahawk volleyball and basketball teams.
