Spouse and Dependent Children Partner Rate Policy

Spouse and dependent(s) children have the opportunity to participate in regularly offered, Northwood University, Northwood Online undergraduate and DeVos Graduate School courses at the EdAssist by Bright Horizons tuition rate. Spouse and dependent(s) are subject to the same rules and policies as the general student population at Northwood University. Dependent children are defined as natural child by birth, legal adoption, or stepchildren. Dependent children must be verified by EdAssist by Bright Horizons client employees properly submitting the most recent tax returns to the Northwood University Business Office. If a child of an EdAssist by Bright Horizons client employee is not a qualified dependent on the most recent year tax return, the child is not eligible for the partner rate.

Please note: the tuition reduction is effective for enrollment in future terms and will not be applied retroactively. The effective start date for tuition reduction is based on the submission date of required documentation that verifies proof of eligibility as an EdAssist by Bright Horizons participant. It is the client student/employee’s responsibility to submit the required documentation to activate the tuition reduction.
