Welcome to the Alden B. Dow Center for Creativity & Enterprise of Northwood University. The Center for Creativity & Enterprise strives to offer our students and the public opportunities to understand creativity and how creativity builds better business. Throughout the year, our calendar of events provide diverse opportunities for students, faculty businesses and entrepreneurs to engage in events promoting and supporting creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Mission
The ABDCCE promotes the creative legacy of Alden B. Dow by championing the effective integration of creative and innovative ways of thinking and problem solving in student curriculum and faculty development. The ABDCCE supports entrepreneurship by connecting students, faculty and business ventures in consulting engagements and by collaborating with community entrepreneurial institutions that promote business creativity, entrepreneurship and commercialization of ideas. Additionally, the Center supports the entrepreneurial needs of the students on all campuses. It is with these activities that the ABDCCE supports Northwood's mission of developing future leaders of a global, free-enterprise society.
Vision
The Creativity Center was founded on the belief that creative thinking is the only real source of human progress and that civilization's progress can be speeded up only as creative people are encouraged to develop ideas aimed at improving the quality of life.
