AAP & MAAP Designation Programs

Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) & Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP)

Aftermarket Focused Professional Development Designation Programs

The University of the Aftermarket offers professional development designation programs that recognize those who have achieved a level of professional skill through a consistent commitment to continuing education.

The Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) and Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations were developed in the 1980s in partnership with the Auto Care Association, Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA). They were created to recognize the educational achievements of working professionals in the motor vehicle aftermarket. AAP and MAAP designations are awarded each year at a ceremony at the AAPEX Show.
